Visiting Scholars Lecture Series: Douglas Fix

Douglas Fix will be giving a talk entitled "Different Routes, Disparate Perspectives: Missionary, Photographic and Local Images of Baksa, Southern Taiwan, 1871"  at 2:00 pm in South Hall Room 1430 on January 12.  This lecture will be open to all.  Douglas Fix is a Professor in the East Asian History and Humanities Department at Reed College.  He received his Ph.D. in History from the University of California Berkeley and has been a visiting scholar at Cheng Kung University and Academia Sinica.
