Graduate Program
The graduate program is composed of two parts: an M.A./Ph.D. program that accepts students concentrating on Chinese, Japanese, or transnational studies within East Asia, and an M.A. program. The M.A. program is further subdivided into two components: the M.A. program in Asian Studies, for students with broad interests in Asia or who will pursue a concentration outside of East Asia, and the M.A. program in Asian Studies with a formal emphasis in East Asian Languages and Cultural Studies.

Admission
Students holding a B.A. degree may apply to either program. Students who already have an M.A. may also apply to the Ph.D. program.
