The Yellow Emperor's Tomb

The Yellow Emperor may have been a real historical figure, but the legends surrounding him are much more interesting than the reality probably was.  He is popularly considered to be the ancestor of the Han Chinese people, and is said to have invented a great number of things, including the carriage, the crossbow, the bronze mirror, and the umbrella (from the article mentioned below).  Because he is such an important part of Chinese folklore, his tomb, located in Huangling County, is a very popular tourist destination, and much effort has been put into preserving and restoring it.
